The national deputy of Unión por la Patria, Juan Manuel Pedrini, had a strong verbal clash with his counterpart from PRO, Fernando Iglesias, during the session on the Clean Record bill. Pedrini accused Iglesias and other politicians of being involved in an attack on the life of Cristina Kirchner, former president of Argentina.
Pedrini recalled that Mauricio Macri, former president of Argentina, had been convicted in a second instance for smuggling upon taking office. According to Pedrini, the verbal attacks and accusations come from people who have no moral authority to speak about political integrity. In this context, Pedrini defended himself from the insults and accusations from Iglesias, calling him "idiot" and "fool."
The Kirchnerist deputy pointed out the alleged complicity of the Minister of Economy, Luis "Toto" Caputo, and PRO deputy Gerardo Milman in the attack against Cristina Kirchner. Pedrini insisted that an investigation should be conducted into why money from Caputo's family was allocated to Jonathan Morely Revolución Federal.
During the heated exchange, Pedrini questioned Milman's behavior, who allegedly made suggestive comments about his whereabouts before the attack. The Kirchnerist deputy demanded explanations regarding the supposed involvement of PRO and La Libertad Avanza in the attempted murder of Cristina Kirchner.
